Collection runner
Right-click a collection or folder and choose Run Collection…, or run Vegha: Run Collection… from the Command Palette.
Options
Section titled “Options”| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Iterations | How many times to run the whole set. |
| Data file | A CSV or JSON file. Each row (or array element) is one iteration, and its columns become variables. |
| Delay | Milliseconds to wait between requests. |
| Stop on failure | Stop at the first failed request or assertion. |
| Parallel | Send requests concurrently instead of in order. |
By default requests run in order and carry variables forward, so a captured token from an early request is available to later ones. Parallel runs don’t carry variables between requests.
Results
Section titled “Results”Results stream in live. Select any request to see its response, assertions and test output.
Reports
Section titled “Reports”Export a finished run as:
- HTML: a self-contained report to share;
- JUnit XML: for CI dashboards and test-reporting tools;
- JSON: for your own tooling.
To run the same collection in CI, use the vegha CLI. It produces the same JUnit report. See
With the desktop app & CLI.
